GPS N43º 39.965', W123º 22.153', Elevation above sea level 250 ft.
Waterfall is also visible from the bridge over the creek.
- On Hwy 38 east of Reedsport go to milepost 47.5
- Turn north onto County Road 65 (west side of bridge) near a 'Hardscrabble Creek' sign
- In a short distance find a wide spot on the side of the road near the creek
- Waterfall is visible down the slope of the bank
CAUTION: doing this puts you on Hwy 38.
Found this as-yet-unidentified flowering plant on the bank.
Hardscrabble Creek flows into nearby Elk Creek.
